My Story

I am an Irish Fine Artist living and working in New York for the past 15 years. I grew up in Cork and have had a lasting love of art from a very young age. As a child, I would sit and draw for hours. I eventually went on to do Art & Design in Cork city but ended up finally doing Interior Design for 3 years. While I really enjoyed Interior Design, my real passion still lay with Art!

Time went by and as life takes you in many different directions, I ended up moving to NY in 2007 where I worked to live and unfortunately there was just no time for creativity.

I eventually met my now husband Michael & we have 2 amazing fun-loving boys that has changed my life immensely for the better. It has made me realize that life is for living and has given me the confidence to finally follow my dream!

So here I am doing my thing and loving every minute!

I work from my little home studio in Yonkers, NY. I like to work Intuitively, as I enjoy the freedom it gives me. I love where I’m from, Ireland, so landscapes and florals have a major nostalgia for me.

I think Intuitive Art evokes very strong feelings in people, and any single piece can mean many different things depending on the viewer!

I believe there is extreme power in color! I love to use shades of Red, Pinks and Blues, but this too can change with time. I like to work with many different mediums, but my main loves are Acrylic and various Inks. My big love is gold, so you will probably see it crop up a lot.
